Well, ‘Emily in Paris’ Season 5 might not have taken off with the right note this time; the audience remains divided over the exaggerated storyline of Emily, who is now wandering in Rome and leaving us again with a mystery box. It’s safe to say that at least the fashion notes of the series lived up to expectations. We now love the style scene even more since an Indian brand just got a feature, making it through all the Parisian and Italian charm.

Lily Collins as Emily Cooper’s wardrobe undoubtedly goes unnoticed. Her looks from big fashion houses like Dolce & Gabbana and Fendi are indeed the real deal, playing a key part in her evolving journey. While the show features many appearances, your naked eye must have missed a scene where Emily is decked up in Indian jewellery.

Yes, this happened this season. The main protagonist was seen wearing two statement hoop designs, i.e., the Amalaka hoops and Karnika hoops by Ridhi Asrani’s Hyderabad-based jewellery label. The diva is styled by Marilyn Fitoussi, who carefully selected every look and, depending on the aesthetic, chose this Indian brand above all.

Ridhi Asrani recently spoke about the opportunity and experience in an interview with India Today, sharing her brand's moment and journey. She said, “More than the scale of the platform, it was about the pop culture influence it holds. Emily in Paris represents modern femininity and self-expression at its fullest, and it felt good to see your designs speak for themselves and find resonance."




The Amalaka hoops are a classic pair of golden hoops with marquise-shaped citrine crystals along the edges and finished with a pair of pearls joined at each junction. She teamed them with a structured bustier polka dot black and white top and matched it with the same-print A-line skirt by Danish brand Stine Goya.

Emily was seen wearing these pairs while exploring the beautiful city of Venice on a dreamy boat. Meanwhile, the Karnika hoops are a big size and feature champagne-coloured crystals with granulation and floral carvings, taking the form of a classic hoop style.

The lead pairs them with a multicoloured, vibrant jacket and matching colourful pants, which brought an iconic overall balance.

However, this is not the first time the diva has worked on an international project; her Dwar hoops and Amalaka hoops have been featured in two different seasons of ‘And Just Like That’ starring Sarah Jessica Parker. International celebrities like Lilly Singh have also stepped out in their statement pieces, proving that it’s just the beginning for them.
