It has almost been a year since Deepika Padukone got married to Ranveer Singh. The couple created a lot of waves with their wedding photos, customised ensembles and the picturesque location of Lake Como. Deepika got married in South Indian and Sindhi traditional ceremonies. For the latter, the actress wore a traditional red lehenga, which became an internet sensation.
While DP shared the wedding photos, we still couldn't get to see the entire look. And now, as brides are picking up the same lehenga by the ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, we can see what a masterpiece it is. Recently, we came across Delhi-based bride Eishita Puri, who donned this beautiful creation for her wedding.
Eishita went for the same colour and design and also opted for two dupattas like Deepika. The lehenga featured peacock motifs on the border and dabka embroidery in gold colour. The veil dupatta also had the same incantation 'Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava', which made quite a statement a year back. Her look was accessorised with an elaborate choker neckpiece, matha-patti and a nose ring.
The bride aced the look with a big pair of traditional gold kaleeras. When it came to her make-up, she sported defined eyes with a light lip colour.
