The Dil Bechara lookbook: Sushant Singh Rajput's charm, Sanjani Sanghi's simplistic style and some Parisian romance

Not even a month since the tragic passing away of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and our hearts are still aching in disbelief. The actor passed away on June 14, after being dead at his Bandra home and sadly, he couldn't see the release of his soon to be out film, Dil Bechara. And as destiny would have it, the trailer of the film (slated for an internet release worldwide) is setting new records and has already garnered 5.8 million views on YouTube, becoming one of the most liked videos of the year. Like everyone, we too got emotional after seeing the trailer and thought of listing a few points that make the movie so special - from its simplicity to style.
2/6

The charming Sushant

Sushant was clearly one of the most charming movie actors of the era, and he proves the same with his last film, which is full of the Sushant vibe. The trailer will make you remember that endearing smile and that innate style. A lot of his scenes remind us of the young Shah Rukh Khan, and we are not surprised as Sushant was SRK's biggest fan. The late actor's styling, that of a young man is cool and there's wide use jackets, t-shirts and denims by the stylist.
3/6

Sanjana: The girl-next-door

Sanjhana Sanghi leaves a remarkable impression in the trailer, with her straight-faced dialogues and girl next door persona. Her styling - simple shirt and denim looks, casual flowy dresses do complete justice to her well-etched character, that of a cancer patient who's fighting all odds but is living in the present and how.

Similarities with The fault in Our Stars (movie)

Since it's an official adaptation of the hit Hollywood film, The Fault in Our Stars, which was based on a best seller by the same name, written by author John Green, similarities are bound to happen. In fact, the styling of the movie is reminiscent of the original adaptation. Sushant will in a few scenes remind you of Ansel Elgort and Sanjana, in bits and pieces gives a glimpse of Shailene Woodley.
5/6

Parisian vibe

The film has been shot in Jamshedpur and Paris, but the latter bit just stands out. The scenes in the trailer depict the Parisian romance to perfection. There is Eiffel Tower, the famous gloomy weather of the city of light.
6/6

A little something about the movie

The movie is a love story of two cancer patients, Kizzie and Manny, who live their dreams in the short time they have. The Indian adaptation is the directorial debut of Mukesh Chhabra, who's also Bollywood's famous casting director.
