From cool casuals to festive favourites, the latest edition of Delhi Times Fashion Week (DTFW), presented by KRasa Group and powered by Prius Communications, showcased a stylish range of collections. The three-day event began at The Grand, Vasant Kunj, on Wednesday.Highlighting Manipuri craft and culture

Allie Sharma
Allie Sharma took inspiration from traditional craft and techniques to present her collection. “Royal Heritage by Allie Sharma is inspired by maharanis,” shared Allie. Human rights activist Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi, who was the showstopper, said, “When she came up to me with this collection’s idea, I was thrilled.”

Zillinie by Ahmed Ali
Ahmed Ali presented a cocktail collection for modern brides and grooms. “I think youngsters are more interested in such collections,” said the designer. Showstopper Harsh Nagar said, “I’m from Delhi and it was good to be home. After a long time I was on the ramp and it was quite different.”
Rabani and Rakha
The show presented couture that was easy to carry and not excessively embellished. The designers, Gautam Rakha, Shibani Rastogi and Rahul Rastogi, shared, “The outfits, in our collection, were made keeping in mind feminine fluidity, and they were easy to wear and versatile.”
Mohd Danish
With khadi as the highlight of the show, designer Mohd Danish focussed on handloom, but presented it in modern designs. The designer said, “I wanted to promote khadi in a unique style. I looked at different sources for inspiration on how differently I can present it on the ramp.”
Miss and Mrs Red Carpet Crown of India by Mayuri Mittal
With acid attack survivors and vitiligo models waking the ramp, Mayuri Mittal dedicated her show for a cause. She shared, “Through this show I wanted to spread the message of women empowerment & equality. Also, I wanted to promote sustainability, so I used old fabrics to create these designs.”
Trousseau trends Zarana By Sana Khan x Tiraa by Tibarumal Jewels
Bridal collection by Sana Khan was all about exquisite and heavily embroidered lehengas. An exclusive jewellery collection by Tiraa by Tibarumal Jewels complemented the bridal look. The designer said, “At DTFW, I showcased my upcoming Royal Heritage Brides collection, which features zari, and dabka hand embroideries.”
Diadem X NSAM Academy
The fairytale inspired collection was designed by the students of NSAM Academy. “Our students wanted to depict women’s strength,” said Ayush Jain, founder and director of the academy. Amisha Choudhary, founder and director, Diadem, added, “Happy to be associated with DTFW.”

Beach vibes
Sakshi Bindra
With cool prints, bikini tops paired with linen pants and flowy gowns, Sakshi Bindra’s collection was perfect for a beach holiday. “I’ve used easy-breezy fabrics and drapes as it has been designed keeping in mind beach weddings,” said Sakshi.
Sumit Dasgupta X Universal India Awards
Sumit Dasgupta’s collection presented by Universal India Awards was a mix of wedding wear and evening wear. “A lot of craft has been used from different parts of India for this collection, like kalamkari, hand painting. We worked with craftsmen from villages for many designs that were showcased here,” said the designer about his collection.
