Indian brides are making and breaking trends, when it comes to wedding fashion. And, ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee's new-age brides have set the ball rolling for the millenial brides. With the designer making pastel shades more popular than the reds and maroons this season, it seems the whole business of wedding fashion is changing.
Not only are brides opting for lighter hues for their wedding lehengas, but also accessorising their weddng outfits in interesting ways. And, sunglasses seem to have become the coolest bridal accessory ever, and mind it they seem to have become as important as the maang tikka (head ornament), the chooda (bangles) and the nath (nose ring).
Sabyasachi Mukherjee's latest bridal shoot has brides adorning a lovely pastel hued anarkalis and lehengas, along with heritage emerald and gold jewellery. And, one accessory that has dominated the entire wedding shoot is shades or sunglasses in hues of brown and pink. So, gone is the 'kaala chashma' and enters the 'rose-tinted glasses'. We bet many brides will get inspired to don a chashma on their wedding after seeing these photos.
The pictures showcase the very beautiful Fiza collection forming part of Sabya's spring summer 2019 collection and each garment is par excellence.
Shot at the beautiful Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur, the shoot depicts the modern Indian bride and we are in love with this new change. The photographs are courtesy, Errikos Andreou and feature famous models like Eugeniya Belousova, Archana Akil Kumar and Priyadarshini Chatterjee.
