Has Rashmika Mandanna been replaced by Sreeleela as Onitsuka Tiger’s India face at Milan Fashion Week?

When global fashion labels shift their front-row focus at fashion weeks, the internet surely notices. But when that shift involves two of South India’s most renowned and bankable actresses, speculation goes into overdrive.

Today, the clash is between Rashmika Mandanna and Sreeleela. It seems the ‘Guntur Kaaram’ actress has replaced the nation’s crush, Rashmika, as the new Indian face of Onitsuka Tiger. The label and the actress have not announced anything yet, but this speculation follows Sreeleela grabbing a front-row seat for Onitsuka’s Milan Fashion Week showcase.

Carrying a functional look with a whimsical touch, Sreeleela was spotted wearing a bright yellow modish tweed jacket featuring a simple front zip, an open collar, and small front pockets. She layered this over a grey front-buttoned waistcoat, which was worn over a stripe-printed fitted t-shirt.




Sreeleela reminds us of the layering aesthetic from the Y2K era. She completed the look with black socks, calf-length grey socks, and classic black Mary Janes. She styled this funky attire with a chic black satchel bag and wore only small, sleek golden hoops, which looked absolutely iconic.

Leaving room for drama, she tossed her hair into a high ponytail with soft curls and a side parting. For makeup, she opted for a dewy base, smoky winged eyes, and a subtle mauve lip.



Sreeleela attending Milan Fashion Week in association with Onitsuka is not necessarily a replacement. Fashion labels can expand their ambassador roster or test emerging talent to create regional influence, and Sreeleela is one of them. With rising box-office attraction and fresh fashion credibility, she carries a presence which sincerely cannot be denied.
