Italian striker Mario Balotelli, midfielder Cesc Fàbregas from Spain and Uruguayan defender Diego Godin are wearing mismatched shoes as they play. It’s an idea that hipsters generally use to spunk up their look.
However, these soccer stars aren’t the only ones following this hipster trend.International celebrities like actress Helena Bonham Carter, singer Joss Stone and DJ Deadmau5 have used this radical trick too. Said Helena in an interview, “Fashion is all about having fun. Why not wear mismatched shoes? Who says we can’t? I was just having fun. For me, fashion is all about fantasy and putting unlikely things together.”
