Delhi Times Fresh Face Season 15 finalist Sabhya Kanwar joined us for festive shopping at the market. Chaniya-choli sets, halter tops with mirror work, Kutchi work skirts and mashru silk skirts with ajrakh prints are available at the stalls in a variety of colours to suit different tastes. If you love the classic white tee with denim jeans look? Just wear an embroidered koti on top, carry a boho bag, pair it up with oxidised jewellery and you are good to go.

Gujarati Market is buzzing with shoppers

Siddharth Saini, a shop owner of 80-B, says, “Boho bags are a must-have for a garba night. Bags made with gudri, kambalia work, patch work are available in the market." He said that that this year has been the best in terms of footfall post the pandemic

"The market prices may seem expensive but there’s a lot of scope for bargain. I have bought an embroidered mat from here and I will stitch it on my denim jacket for my Navaratra OOTD," says Chhavi Jain, a shopper and content creator.

Visit a lace shop or local markets, like Gujarati Market, Lajpat Nagar or Kamla Nagar, and buy embroidered borders.

Hair pins and bows - Cut a piece of the border and paste it on a flat hair clip or bob pin. Your DIY hair accessory is ready. A bow accessory for your hair could be an interesting addition to your garba look. Use Kutchi patches to make your own bow.
