A mix of young designers and veterans showcased their collections at The Grand, New Delhi, and the grand finale by designer
Siddartha Tytler was just a perfect conclusion to the fashion extravaganza.
Summer shimmer - Nazim Ali

Nazim Ali presented a summer collection in fabrics like chiffon, net and georgette. Saris with zari patterns and motifs in organza and other summer-friendly fabrics were also a part of the collection. In menswear, the designer experimented with a lot of bling. Sequined kurtas, drapes and sheer dhotis paired with bandhgalas were the highlights. “I stay in Bareilly and work closely with artisans and craftsmen who work with zari,” said the designer who showcased for the first time at DTFW.
Contemporary couture - Siddartha Tytler 
Aditya Seal turned showstopper for Siddartha Tytler
Designer Siddartha Tytler’s closing show, presented by Obello Life, redefined couture. The designer said, “I am a sportswear designer and a couture designer, too. I thought why not mix these two and come up with an ath-luxury line.”
About being a part of DTFW, he added, “It was a great experience to be here and a pleasure to present this finale show.”

Cantabil showcased its latest collection for men and women. The show began with a range of cool tees, denims and smart casual wear and then moved to semi-formals and formals. Structured fits in both formals and casuals made a comeback on the ramp. “We are delighted and excited to be part of this event. For our collection,
we experimented with different colours like wine and olive this time. It was an interesting mix and match that we wanted to present,” said

Summer delights - Marks & Spencer

Think of florals, bright colours and breezy dresses when you talk about summer fashion this year. Marks & Spencer presented its summer collection at DTFW, and it was all things chic. Cool co-ord sets, cotton and linen dresses and shirts with big floral prints were the highlights of the show.

First ramp shows are always special. Students of Lovely Professional University put in their best efforts to ensure an impressive first show. Students explored themes like sustainability and experimented with
different techniques and weaves in their graduation show. They said that DTFW is a great platform to interact with some known names from the fashion fraternity.

From gowns and dresses straight out of fairy tales to structured dresses, students of Amity University presented a collection that combined technique and creativity. The young designers shared that they took inspiration from indigenous techniques and presented it in a contemporary fashion.
