Karva Chauth Puja Samagri: List of items for Puja Samagri of Karwa Chauth 2024
Karwa Chauth is a famous festival which is majorly celebrated in the North Indian states. The festival is primarily celebrated by married women, though some unmarried women also keep the Karva Chauth Vrat, in order to pray for the logevity and happiness of their future husbands.
The Karva chauth Vrat (fast) kept on this day is rather a strict one in which no food or water is allowed throughout the day till moonrise in the evening. After keeping the fast for the whole day, women gather together in the evening and perform an elaborate pooja, which is followed by observing the moon and then breaking the fast. It's noted that women keeping the Karva Chauth Vrat generally start preparing for the Vrat or pooja samagri a day before to avoid the last-minute hassel.
This year Karwa Chauth will be marked on October 20, 2024. Read on to know more about the essential pooja items that are a must for performing the Karva Chauth pooja.
