The perfect book for your kids this Diwali!

We have grown up listening to varied versions of Ramayana - an epic composed more than two thousand years ago. Held as the ‘Dharam kitab’, Ramayana has always been told as the story of Gods and demons. But how do we make our kids understand the concept of God and Devils? How do we make them believe in a story that teaches us a strong lesson of ‘karma’? Author Arshiya Sattar has an interesting solution.

The author has weaved this powerful story in ‘Ramayana for Children’ that reads like the story of princes and princesses. She has simplified the concepts for children and probably for the adults too.
She writes: It is here that we see Rama as a human being, just like us. He laughs, he cries, he gets angry, he is sad and even lonely. Rama’s story is also the story of Hinduism. Dharma tells us what we should do but it is karma – our actions – that determines what happens to us.
