A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was a great scientist and teacher who served as the President of India. He was known as the "People's President" and was loved by most citizens. In 2010, the United Nations Organization (UNO) declared the birth date of APJ Abdul Kalam, October 15th as World Student Day — in honour of his efforts on promoting education.
