The Harry Potter audiobook scheduled to be released this year will reveal some influences behind the wizardry of the Potter universe.
The new audiobook, titled
Harry Potter: A History of Magic, will go on sale October 4, announced the audio producer and seller at Audible Inc, a section of Amazon.com.
It was announced earlier that the audiobook will be narrated by British actress Natalie Dormer. Several "hidden stories" will also feature in the book and they will deal with the magic in the Harry Potter universe. Besides, the audiobook is said to talk about the manuscripts, myths and other artifacts that J.K. Rowling drew upon for her blockbuster fantasy series.
Rowling's company Pottermore Publishing will publish the audio work and it can be bought on Audible. This activity also serves as a companion to the 'Harry Potter: A History of Magic' exhibition that was conducted in 2017 at the British Museum and will be run this October at the New-York Historical Society.
