After centuries of struggle, fights, and revolutions, India finally gained Independence on
August 15, 1947. India, the ‘Sone ki chidiya’ was free from the cage of British rule. And while she was tired, her spirit was tireless and living in the people who wished to see great again. From freedom fighters who laid their lives to students who organised marches and protests, British rule saw patriotism and the will to be truly ‘free’ everywhere and was forced to grant Indians ‘Swaraj’.
