Children are a bundle of joy, innocence, spirit and enthusiasm. They are always curious to know and learn more. With their young minds developing and craving for more knowledge, children often turn to their parents and elders with a plethora of questions. They want to know about the when, why, and what of everything and there is no better response to a child’s questions than a book.


Books open a whole new world for them in which they could look for the answers to their inquisitiveness. An infinite source of knowledge and imagination, books never disappoint the young folks. With the Children’s Day coming up on November 14, there is no better gift that you could give to your child than a book. A classic story of social justice and outrageous cunning, the book's protagonist is Robin Hood. He is a legendary outlaw hero, who steals from the rich to save the poor with his band of Merry men in the vast Sherwood forest.

The fantasy novel follows the magical adventure of Dorothy, a young girl who lives with her aunt and uncle on a farm in Kansas. One day when Dorothy is caught up in tornado with her little dog, Toto, she finds her farmhouse has been magically transplanted to the mystical Land of Oz.

​‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl

The novel follows young Charlie Bucket and his Grandpa Joe as they join a small group of contest winners who get to tour the magical and mysterious factory of candy maker Willy Wonka. ‘Heidi’ by Johanna Spyri

The story is about an orphan girl, Heidi, who has been sent to live with her lonely and angry grandfather at the top of a mountain in the Swiss Alps.
