- Apply two table spoons of vinegar and six table spoons of hot water on the scalp with the help of cotton swab and leave it overnight. Rinse your hair with herbal or a mild baby shampoo, the following day.
- Massage your scalp with a mixture of curd and amla (Indian goose berry) in which a few drops of lime juice have been added. Rinse later with a mild shampoo.
- Be careful about your diet. Include fresh foods like fresh fruits, vegetables, sprouted seeds, raw nuts and cereals in your diet. Reduce the intake of red meat, sweets, strong coffees and tea, candies, aerated drinks, pickles and spices.
- Massage your scalp with warm olive or sesame oil and then wrap a warm cloth or a towel on head for a few minutes, before washing your hair.

- Apply peel of lime immersed in coconut milk or oil heated naturally by leaving it in sunshine for ten days.
- Massage the scalp with almond and olive oil for five minutes, leave it for some time and then rinse to get rid of dandruff.
- Rinsing hair with cider vinegar after applying a herbal shampoo also helps relieve from dandruff.
