Shalini Passi’s strict beauty diet includes ghee shots, goat’s curd and these unique things
Shalini Passi, the newest star of Netflix's The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, is not only known for her vibrant personality but also for her meticulously curated beauty diet that enhances her health, vitality, and radiant glow. The 49-year-old art collector and Delhi socialite recently shared the details of her strict, health-focused diet in an interview with a leading website, revealing how her eating habits contribute to her beauty from the inside out.
Shalini’s beauty diet kicks off with a shot of ghee, a traditional Ayurvedic ingredient known for its nourishing properties. She follows this with a handful of almonds and walnuts, which are rich in healthy fats and antioxidants. To further boost her morning routine, she drinks a mix of beetroot juice, amla, and ginger—ingredients that promote glowing skin, improve digestion, and detoxify the body.
A major part of Shalini's beauty diet includes juicing, with a daily intake of celery juice, red juice, and a nutrient-dense sprout juice made from sprouted seeds (pulled rather than strained for optimal nutrients). She also incorporates capsicum juice made from bell peppers, a vitamin C-rich powerhouse known to support skin health, and avocado, which is packed with healthy fats that help maintain a supple complexion.
For breakfast, Shalini enjoys a ragi or jowar chilla, both of which are high in fiber and aid in maintaining a clear, blemish-free complexion.
In addition to her beauty diet, Shalini is equally dedicated to fitness. Every day from 4 to 6 PM, she engages in a rigorous workout regimen, which includes an hour of dance followed by Pilates and weight training. Her pre-workout meal consists of fresh fruits, providing her body with the natural sugars and vitamins it needs to power through her intense exercise routine.
Shalini’s dinner consists of unstrained, thick vegetable soups, such as spinach and broccoli soup, tomato and capsicum soup, and other vegetable-based soups made from bhindi, lotus stem, peas, and leek. These nourishing soups not only keep her feeling full but also provide a wealth of antioxidants and vitamins essential for skin rejuvenation.
When it comes to protein, Shalini incorporates eggs, fish, or chicken on days when she’s not visiting the temple. However, one of the standout elements of her beauty diet is goat's curd, which she insists on having every day. She believes goat's curd is vital for strong bones and teeth, but its probiotic properties also contribute to gut health, which in turn supports clearer skin and a healthier complexion.
Shalini's commitment to her beauty diet extends beyond her daily meals—she’s so dedicated that she even carries her own vegetables when traveling to Mumbai. Additionally, she doesn’t drink alcohol and has no cravings for sugar or carbs, keeping her beauty regimen disciplined and clean.
By focusing on nourishing her body with nutrient-dense foods and maintaining a strict fitness routine, Shalini Passi proves that beauty truly begins from within. Her beauty diet is proof of the power of holistic health and wellness, keeping her glowing both inside and out.
