Indian make-up artist's desi take on Disney princesses is breathtaking

Disney princesses turn Indian

North Carolina-based model and make-up artist Hamel Patel's experimental tryst with Disney princesses is taking her places. Well, this make-up artist of Indian descent recreated some ever-so-popular looks of Disney princesses using desi make-up tricks and the results will make you go "wow". Dressed in Indian attire, Hamel gave a rather interesting twist to the princesses. Here's a look at some of them.

Ariel

For the desi Ariel look, Patel opted for a dark pink lip crayon, caramel highlighter, magenta eyeshadow, blue eyeliner for the under eye and a black gel liner for that winged eye look. She completed the look by fixing a fork to her hair.

Aurora

For her take on Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, she used a pink eyeshadow along with false eye lashes and a kohl pencil. She finished her look with a dull pink lip crayon and a caramel highlighter on her cheeks.

Belle

As the desi Belle, Hamel dressed in a bright yellow lehenga-choli. The make-up artist used a light chaser highlighter in opal shade, some bronzer on her cheeks, false eyelashes and red liquid lipstick. She completed the look with a diamond bindi. Also, not to miss was her classic kundan jewellery.

Cinderella

For Cinderella, Hamel donned a blue satin sari from Banjara Indian Boutique and completed her look with shimmery baby blue eyeshadow on her eyes along with a gel-based eyeliner, loads of mascara and a bronzer to highlight those cheekbones. She rounded off her look by opting for a glossy bronze-pink lip colour, a bindi and a Cinderella band on her head.

Jasmine

For the desi Jasmine look, Hamel used a liquid metal cream eyeshadow along with a matte black liquid eyeliner. Hamel completed the look with a nude liquid matte lipstick with some petroleum jelly to complete the look. Also, not to miss is her blue iconic Sridevi bindi.

Snow White

Hamel donned an electric blue Indian attire to depict the desi Snow White. She completed her look with matte foundation, gel eyeliner, pressed pigments in gold and a ruby red lip colour. Hamel added the signature red Snow White bow to finish off the look.

Pocahontas

As princess Pocahontas, Patel donned a boho-like outfit complete with a fabric neckpiece and her make-up comprised a blue eyeliner, bronze eyeshadow and brown lipstick with satin finish.
