How to make kadi patta oil to stop hairfall at home
Curry leaf, or kadi patta, is an aromatic, valuable herb that is rich in antimicrobial properties, which makes it useful in the treatment of bacteria and also promotes hair growth at the same time. Curry leaves are a rich source of proteins, beta-carotene, and alkaloids that moisturise the scalp and remove the dead hair follicles.
This over-the-top natural herb is not just used in the kitchen but is a sacred herb that can easily be used in the segment of skin and hair care. Curry leaves retain natural hair tone, promote hair growth, and prevent hair thinning. Let’s see how to make homemade kadi patta oil to stop hair fall at home once and for all.
Coconut oil – 1 cup
Curry leaves – ¼ wash and pat dry
Fresh amla – ¼ cup chopped into small pieces
Fenugreek seeds – 1 tablespoon
Step 1: Place your coconut oil, amla, curry leaves, and methi seeds in a heavy-bottomed pot, and cook them on a low flame till all the moisture evaporates out.
Step 2: When all the moisture is gone, you will see that the amla and other herbs will settle down and turn brown. Now, turn off the heat and let the herbs sit in the oil for a day.
Step 3: The next day, strain the oil into a glass jar and use it once or twice a week.
Step 1: You can use the whole dried amla and curry leaves in place of fresh herbs, with sesame or olive oil. One can also use cold-pressed, unrefined coconut oil, as it will not strip away the nutrients and will benefit you the most.
Step 2: Add 1 spoonful of methi seeds to have a strong aroma before soaking them in the water for 10 hours. Grind all the ingredients to create a paste, and then strain it using a cloth.
Step 3: Collect the strained oil in a jar and use it twice a week.
