The race to be the hottest fuchcha in Delhi is in its last leg, and all the finalists are both nervous and excited about the finale. But the girls are more nervous about keeping their skin clear, healthy and glowing in the run-up to the finale. Helping them do that is Clean & Clear dermatologist Dr Suruchi Puri, who held individual sessions with the girls recently and gave them tips on how to deal with their skin problems.
Puri told the girls that keeping their skin clean was of utmost importance, and using a face wash, keeping the skin type in mind, is vital. She observed that most girls had acne problems in their T-zone, which is common among teenagers. To treat this, they need to keep their skin hydrated and eat right.
Parina Chopra was told that even though she had clear skin, she should include more antioxidants in her diet. Nitibha Kaul was advised to apply oil in her hair for only half an hour before washing them, so that it doesn’t make her skin oilier. Jahnvi Bhalerao had blackheads problem, and Shreya Bhalla was worried about whiteheads, so both were advised to use comedolytic cream.
Nonika Sharma, who has frizzy hair, was told to get her hair trimmed regularly and use a hair serum. Annapurna Dev was told to change her combing pattern often to increase the density of her hair, and Vidushi Kaul was advised against oiling her hair the night before washing, as she had oily skin. Ashna Bhalla, Avantika Bakshi and Konica Kant were also given skincare and hair care tips.
These girls will need all the advice they can get before the finale on November 18, which will be held in DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, as two lucky girls among them will get a chance to be the next face of Clean & Clear.
