Almond powder: 1 tablespoon (optional)
Saffron strands: A pinch (optional)
Honey: 1 teaspoon (optional)

Instructions:

Combine dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, turmeric powder, sandalwood powder, and almond powder (if using). Mix well to ensure even distribution of ingredients.

Add liquid ingredients: Gradually add raw milk or rose water to the dry ingredients while stirring continuously. Mix until you achieve a smooth paste-like consistency. Adjust the quantity of liquid as needed to ensure the paste is not too thick or too runny.

Optional additions: For added benefits, you can incorporate saffron strands soaked in a teaspoon of milk for a few minutes. Additionally, you can include honey for its moisturizing properties. Mix these optional ingredients into the ubtan paste until well combined.

Let it rest: Allow the ubtan paste to rest for about 5-10 minutes to let the ingredients meld together.

Application: Before applying the ubtan, cleanse your face with a mild cleanser to remove any dirt or impurities. Then, apply the ubtan evenly to your face and neck, gently massaging in circular motions. Leave the ubtan on for 15-20 minutes to allow the ingredients to work their magic.

Rinse off: After the allotted time, rinse off the ubtan with lukewarm water, gently scrubbing in circular motions to exfoliate the skin. Follow up with a splash of cold water to close the pores.

Moisturise: Pat your skin dry with a soft towel and follow up with your favorite moisturizer to lock in hydration and keep your skin supple.

Benefits of DIY ubtan for pre-bridal skincare:

Exfoliation: Chickpea flour acts as a natural exfoliant, helping to slough off dead skin cells and reveal a brighter complexion.

Anti-inflammatory: Turmeric powder has potent anti-inflammatory properties that help to soothe irritated skin, reduce redness, and promote a clear complexion.

Brightening: Saffron is known for its skin-brightening properties, helping to impart a radiant glow to the skin, perfect for achieving that bridal luminosity.

Nourishment: Raw milk is rich in lactic acid, which helps to hydrate and nourish the skin, leaving it soft and supple.

Toning: Rose water acts as a natural astringent, helping to tone and tighten the skin, minimizing the appearance of pores and giving your complexion a youthful appearance.
