5 home remedies to try if you want dark black hair
To deal with white strands of hair in your 20s and 30s can be a daunting task. Many people associate grey hair with maturity and wisdom, but a bunch of silver strands can catch you right off guard. With age, we witness naturally grey hair, but because of our lifestyle and the air quality around us, the appearance of fine lines and grey hair is becoming more common. However, with some home remedies, you can control the premature greying of your hair and can turn your hair black naturally for a long period of time. Let’s see some ways to get rid of your grey hair.
.Amla oil or powder
Start using amla oil or powder to cover your grey hair. Known for its high vitamin C content, it promotes hair pigmentation and also premature greying. You can simply massage amla oil or create a hair mask using the powder with powder to see the change.
Curry leaf hair oil
Curry leaves are rich in proteins and antioxidants that restore melanin production in the hair follicles. Simply prepare this homemade oil by blending in coconut oil with curry leaves and start applying.
Black tea rinse
Black tea usually contains antioxidants and caffeine that darken the hair concealing grey strands. You can brew in some black tea, and allow it to cool. Rinse it after some time and see the change in some days.
Onion juice
Brimming with catalase enzymes that reverse the grey hair process, simply extract onion juice and then blend it with some carrier oil, and apply it for 30 minutes. Simply rinse it with a mild shampoo and follow this process for weeks to see the change.
Henna hair mask
A natural dye that strengthens and nourishes the hair shaft, henna powder mixed with simple water can do magic on your hair. Leave it for a few hours and rinse the paste, and see the change in your hair colour.
What causes grey hair?
It is always indicated as the hallmark of ageing, but includes factors of genetics, physiological, and environmental factors. However, grey hair occurs because of the depletion of melanocytes, which are cells producing melanin- a pigment that keeps your hair black. As we age, melanocytes become less active and stop producing melanin thus resulting in grey or white hair strands. It is not possible to reverse the process, but you can maintain your black natural hair color for a long time.
