CHENNAI: There was a lot of buzz around one particular kid from the very first day of the Chennai Open here. He hung around the Centre Court most of the time and once in a while wielded his racket too, making the scribes and the shutterbugs turn curious.
It now turns out that he is one of Leander Paes' students, Ryo Seppe. The 15-year old Japanese-American apparently trains in Singapore.
Asked how it feels to be training with one of the India's greatest players, Seppe said: "It's been tough so far.

If Paes is training someone, there has to be something special about him!
Seppe has always been excited about the Chennai Open and that's why he decided to come here and practice for a while. "I was looking forward to stay till Sunday but I am leaving tonight because Paes is not playing any more in the tournament."
Leander Paes' doubles partner Fabio Fognini pulled out from on Tuesday citing an injury. Consequently, Paes could not play even one match in the Chennai Open this year. Their opponents Mate Pavic and Marin Draganja got a bye to the next round.
