Aly Goni, who plays one of the central characters in the show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, has some interesting plans for the show's fans. Aly, who is also Karan's good friend, has posted on his Instagram account that he is planning to make a movie on the show, cashing on its popularity. The actor posted a video with a caption that read, "Get ready for the reality.. the inside story of YHM. For all YHM fans Coming soon.. Excited? #shortfilmByalygoni." [sic] Now the question that remains unanswered is that whether Aly is joking or he is really going to make a movie of the show's off-screen happenings. Meanwhile, the trailers, full version of which will be up on YouTube soon, feature snippets from the sets of YHM with the lead actors rehearsing lines and preparing for their part. For the uninitiated, Karan Patel has returned from his honeymoon and is back to the shoot.

The preparations for Ankita Bhargava and Karan Patel’s big fat wedding on May 3, 2015 are in full swing. And the soon-to-be-married couple has already planned their honeymoon soon after the nuptials. Reportedly, the actress, who had suffered foot injury a few days back while performing at an event, has not yet fully recovered. Quoting the actress, the report stated that she has suffered multiple fractures in her foot and the doctor has advised her not to walk for another two weeks. Divyanka said that she is slightly disappointed because Abhayji (Bhargava) and Karan had asked her to dance at the wedding.

The report further states that both Karan and Ankita might perform at the sangeet ceremony. However, the names of other people performing at the function are still not known. He made headlines with his announcement of getting married to Ankita Bhargava, daughter of Abhay Bhargava, who plays Karan's father-in-law in the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. According to reports, when Karan was asked if his reel-turned-real father-in-law played cupid, he said, "Not really. I have worked with Abhayji for a long time, but never thought that I would marry his daughter. Aly (Goni), my brother, confidante, friend and co-actor, brought the two families together. She stressed that they won't hang on to the past and even if they are marrying at an age that is late by conventional standards, in their minds they feel that they are just sixteen. When asked whether she is aware of Karan's brattish image and how he was sought-after among women, she said that Karan has that image, but if you get to know him he is quite a family man.

Reports quoted Ankita saying that they will have a filmy wedding. As she belongs to Delhi and has lived in a joint family till she came to Mumbai, Ankita has always enjoyed in the joint family setup and she is happy that Karan has a big family. The report further stated that the wedding functions will include a pre-wedding cocktail party, engagement, sangeet, haldi and mehndi, which will culminate with pheras on May 3, 2015.
