After
Sona Mohapatra, another woman has accused singer
Kailash Kher of sexual misconduct.
According to a report, the woman is a family friend of the singer.
Recalling her incident, she revealed that, back in 2014, she wished the singer on his birthday through a text message. However, she alleged that Kailash replied her in a way which made her uncomfortable. He told the woman that he felt a spiritual connection with her and she is quite attractive, physically.
He even asked her to join him on his upcoming tour and used words like "sweet" and "sexy" to describe the lady.
Even after denying his proposal, the singer continued to send her such messages. In one of the texts he sent, he suggested her to travel with her and said that she won't have so much fun travelling with her boyfriend or husband. The woman further added that two years after this incident, in 2016, Kailash's wife apologised on his behalf.
The reason the said woman opened up about her story is that she couldn't keep mum when voices of other women were being muzzled. She said that staying silent did not feel right.
The #MeToo movement began in India after
Tanushree Dutta accused
Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the sets of a film.
