Rs 1.6 lakh per day for Mishal Raheja?
Rumours were rife that 'Ishq Ka Rang Safed''s male lead Mishal Raheja asked for a sizeable hike during the renewal of his contract recently. After giving it some thought, the production house apparently has agreed to pay him an exorbitant `1.6 lakh per day as he is the face of the show. This may be one of the highest amounts ever paid to a Hindi television fiction actor. We asked Mishal about this and while refusing to comment on the alleged figure, he said, "I believe I deserve the amount I have quoted for a seven-day telecast." It is to be remembered that Eisha Singh, the original protagonist of the show, quit as she didn't want to age any further in the show. Actress Sanjeeda Shaikh was roped in as her replacement. Eisha is currently seen as the new female lead in Zee TV's 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani'.
