Women are coming into entrepreneurship roles because the corporate world is a cesspool of gender discrimination and inherent biases

It’s been only a couple of days since Bloomberg announced Kim Kardashian’s underwear label Skims has doubled its valuation to US $3.2 billion in just nine months thanks to investors pouring in money. Skims was valued at US 1.6 billion in April 2021.

The April figure came a couple of months after the reality-star-turned entrepreneur announced her divorce from Kanye West last year, the troubled but genius rapper, one-time presidential candidate, also known as the richest black man in the USA. West was in the news last week for popping into Paris Couture Week with his new girlfriend Julia Fox just 24 hours before Bloomberg’s mega Kardashian announcement. How’s that for a comeback?
