We look up to supeheroes to help us fight evil, but seldom do we imagine superheroes as those who will make the world better to live in
The human need for superheroes is clearly at an all-time high. Hollywood seems to be bereft of imagination outside of this genre. We started with sequels; now we have prequels, an interconnected universe where superheroes come together, die, and get resurrected. In short, we find ways of regurgitating stories about these superheroes in as many ways as possible.
Why do superheroes not invent cures for cancer or stop starvation? Why don’t they use their abilities to solve real problems?
