Patanjali or Patu Keswani, chairman and managing director of Lemon Tree Hotels, is an engineer by training, a hotelier by chance, a workaholic by nature, a voracious reader and a well-known dog lover. He freely admits that work took up all his time — till the pandemic struck. That was when he realised there was more to life than running a successful chain of hotels — but that running the hotels was even more important at a time when the industry was falling apart.
