Who was behind Gauri Lankesh’s murder?

Activist-journalist Gauri Lankesh's murder case is in the final stage of investigation and a chargesheet is expected to be filed in two months. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has arrested 12 people in connection with her killing on September 5, 2017. Lankesh was known for her strong anti-Hindutva stand and some of the people arrested in the case are allegedly linked to Sanatan Sanstha and its allied outfit Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. The prime accused in the Lankesh case, Amol Kale is in CBI custody and interestingly, he is also the suspected mastermind behind the 2013 murder of rationalist Narendra Dabholkar.
