So now that we are down to two teams, I can’t wait for the Fifa World Cup 2022 to be done and dusted this weekend so my couch potato friends will stop assaulting me with banal social media posts – such as “WHATTA GOAL!!!” and “Ronaldo, you beauty!!” and “A bicycle kick!” etc. Like, seriously, what great insight can I glean from such posts?
