For queer people across the world, June is the month of LGBTQ Pride- a time when those identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer unite and celebrate their diverse gender and sexual identities.
Perhaps, in tandem with these celebrations, Kolkata’s Jadavpur University established its first gender-neutral washroom in its English Department in June 2023.
