NEW DELHI: Ahead of bypolls in

West Bengal

, which is scheduled to be held on September 30, the BJP announced candidates for all three seats - Bhabanipur, Samserganj and Jangipur on Wednesday.

Priyanka Tibriwal

will contest against Trinamool Congress candidate and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee from the Bhabanipur constituency.

The BJP has fielded Milan Ghosh from Samserganj seat and Sujit Das from Jangipur. Meanwhile, the Congress said that it will not field any candidate against Mamata in Bhabanipur.

Banerjee, who lost the election from Nandigram, has to win this by-poll to retain her chief minister's post.

-Priyanka Tibrewal graduated from Delhi University and studied law from Calcutta University. She practices at the Calcutta High Court and the Supreme Court.

-She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Assumption University, Thailand.

-Tibrewal is one of the petitioners in the post-poll violence cases against the TMC government in the Calcutta high court.

-Tibrewal is handling a wide range of cases including the Raniganj riot case and the Purulia murder case.

-She played a crucial role in the recent post-poll violence incidents in West Bengal -- bringing up the cases to the Calcutta high court seeking justice for the murder of Abhijeet Sarkar.
