NEW DELHI: Maharashtra minister and BJP minister Nitesh Rane on Thursday said that his party aims to turn Pakistan into a "Hindu Rashtra."
Posting on X, Rane responded to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader's recent claim that Union home minister Amit Shah wants to make India a "Hindu Pakistan."
"But we want to turn Pakistan into a Hindu Rashtra. Keep this in mind and stay within your limits," Rane wrote in Marathi.
His remarks appeared to reference Raut's column in 'Saamana', where he accused the BJP of fuelling communal divisions and steering India toward becoming a "Hindu Pakistan."
Rane has previously demanded the removal of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb’s tomb from Khultabad in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and had referred to Kerala as a "Mini Pakistan."
