We don't want to be sandwiched between India & China: Sri Lanka president
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has said neither will Sri Lanka be part of a geopolitical fight, nor will it be aligned with any country. "We don't want to be sandwiched, especially between China and India. Both are valued friends and we expect them to become closer partners," he said in an interview with global affairs magazine, 'The Monocle'.

It is very understandable Srilanka does not wish to be caught in between CHINA&INDIA.Neither we pushed them nor pressured them but let them decide&they committed wrongly ending up paying dearly to such extent INDIA has to come to their RESCUE.So all we are saying to the SRILANKAN politicians is that INDIA is a strong nation willing to help them provided they see INDIA in that light.Read allPost comment
