NEW DELHI: Leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi and Wayanad MP and sister Priyanka along with other opposition leaders held a protest march outside Parliament on Friday over the Gautam Adani indictment issue.

Holding Constitution in hands, some of the opposition leaders wore masks which said "Modi-Adani bhai bhai."

Speaking to the reporters, Priyanka Gandhi said, "I am proud of my brother (Rahul Gandhi)... for him nothing is more important than this country. He walked 4,000 kms from Kanyakumari to Kashmir for this country's unity."

"Let them say whatever they want. They don't have the courage to discuss the Adani issue (in Parliament). Why is the problem in discussion... discussion happens in democracy only, they are afraid of it as well," she added.

Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha was adjourned within two minutes of its commencement at 11am.

This comes a day after the opposition staged a protest outside the Parliament wearing t-shirts with slogan "Modi Adani ek hai" and held a protest march. The BJP had responded to this with a poster which said "Rahul-Soros ek hai".

They have demanded a joint parliamentary committee on the matter and have also asked for the attendance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the House sessions.

The Parliament winter sessions has witnessed continuous disruptions and adjournments over opposition's demand to hold discussions on Adani, Sambhal, Manipur among other issues.
