NEW DELHI: Former IAF chief SP Tyagi was grilled by the CBI for the second day on Tuesday in connection with the controversial Rs 3,600 crore AgustaWestland chopper deal.

During his interrogation, Tyagi admitted that he owns four companies, three of which were Anuras, Vanshi and Shavan. A fourth firm - Maghanshu has been identified by the CBI.

Sources say that SP Tyagi was evasive during his questioning on Monday but he admitted to the facts on Tuesday.

He has also admitted today that he met Finmeccanica officials, said sources.

CBI had registered a case against Tyagi along with 13 others including his cousins and European middlemen in the case.
