Vice Admiral Swaminathan is next WNC chief
NEW DELHI: Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan on July 31 will take over as the next chief of the premier Mumbai-based Western Naval Command (WNC), which played a crucial role during Operation Sindoor, while Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan will succeed him as Navy vice chief at the headquarters.
