have accused a staffer of molestation, while three others have accused the orphanage’s security guard of physical assault.

Social justice

and empowerment minister Ishwar Parmar said the accused staffer, Arshad Siddiqui, allegedly molested the two minors while the security guard, Shoeb Siddiqui, allegedly forced them to offer prayers.

“The girls complained that they were also made to clean the orphanage home. If they ever refused, they were beaten by the security guard,” said Parmar.

The crime came to light during a special drive to check security in women shelter homes and orphanages in the city, in wake of serious misconducts revealed in shelter homes of UP and Bihar.
