Two jawans killed in Pak shelling in Poonch

jammu: two army jawans were killed in pakistani shelling in shahpur area of poonch district on saturday evening, official sources said on sunday. pakistani troops resorted to mortar shelling from across the line of control (loc) in shahpur area of surnakote tehsil killing two soldiers, they said. the jawans were killed when they were hit by splinters of the shell, the sources said.indian troops retaliated and the casuality on the other side could not be ascertained, they said. indian and pakistani troops also exchanged mortar fire in jhangar area of noushera sector in rajouri wihout any loss of life or damage on the indian side, the sources said. intermittent exchange of fire between the two sides was also reported along international border (ib) in kathua and jammu districts since on saturday evening, they added.
