CHANDIGARH: Two brothers were on Thursday allegedly shot dead and another was seriously wounded by two persons in Takipur village of Ropar district in Punjab, police said here. Property dispute was stated to be the reason behind the murder, police said. The deceased were identified as Ravinder Singh and Balwinder Singh. Injured Kulwant Singh was battling for life in a hospital here, they said. Brothers Jagjit Singh and Baljeet Singh allegedly shot at the other three from their licenced pistol, police said.
Jagjit Singh had been arrested while Baljeet Singh was absconding, police added
