NEW DELHI: The home ministry has recommended suspension of eight Twitter accounts, including that of separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani.

The eight accounts are @kashmir787 (Voice of Kashmir), @Red4Kashmir (Madiha

), @arsched (Arshad Sharif), @mscully94 (Mary Scully), @sageelaniii (Syed Ali Shah Geelani), @sadaf2k19, @RiazKha61370907 and RiazKha723. IT ministry officials said the recommendations were under the IT Act as the handles were “engaging in an anti-India campaign on Kashmir and Article 370”.

Twitter said, “We don’t comment on individual accounts for privacy and security reasons.”

Government of India is acting tough on external enemies. We have many termites within this boundaries of this great country. They are power hungry and national security and development of nation is secondary to them. Government should do two things immediately. 1)It should fast track all cases which are pending in courts on these anti social elements and if proved guilty, all their assets should be seized and they should be tried as per law of the land without any PAROLE 2)Media(print/tv/social) all of them should have proper proofs to what all news they publish/transmit. If they fail to produce proofs, government should levy heavy fines on them. By doing these two things, government can bring accountability in this great nation, which is laking now. Once government started implementing these two things seriously, results will be amazing and discipline will fall in line among people.
