NEW DELHI: Travelling to Singapore and UAE is set to get easier with relaxation of Covid rules. Singapore will relax its entry and testing requirements for vaccinated travel lane (VTL) travellers from February 22. However, pre-departure requirements remain in place — passengers entering Singapore on VTL flights are required to furnish a negative PCR report or supervised antigen rapid test report within two days of departure.
For those returning from the UAE, people fully vaccinated in India don’t need a negative RT-PCR report.
They need to upload their Indian vaccination certificate when heading back. About the UAE arrival rules, Air India Express tweeted, “All other passengers (not vaccinated in India) should carry a negative RT-PCR certificate and upload the same on Air Suvidha portal.”
