NEW DELHI: Senior BJP leaders, including Leader of Opposition L K Advani and party president Rajnath Singh, are rushing to Mumbai to visit high-profile party General Secretary Pramod Mahajan who was shot at allegedly by his brother on Saturday morning, party sources said.
Party Vice President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, General Secretary (Organisation) Sanjay Joshi and former party chief M Venkiah Naidu are among the other leaders who are making a beeline to Mumbai following the incident.

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is in constant touch with Mahajan and his family members and senior party leaders in Mumbai, the sources said.
While Rajnath Singh is in Lakhimpur in Uttar Pradesh as part of his ongoing 'Bharat Suraksha Yatra,' Advani is in Rajnandagaon in Chattisgarh.
BJP Deputy leader in Lok Sabha V K Malhotra has expressed shock over the incident and said party workers and people across the country were deeply concerned over Mahajan's health and were praying for his speedy recovery.
