Rekha Gupta, a first-time MLA from Shalimar Bagh took oath as the chief minister of Delhi, marking the BJP's return to power in the capital after 27 years.
Gupta began her political career with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) at Daulat Ram College, Delhi University. She later became the president of the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) in 1996-97, actively raising student-related issues.
Her administrative experience includes serving as a councillor from North Pitampura (2007, re-elected in 2012) and later as the mayor of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC). She launched the "Sumedha Yojana" to support economically weaker female students and worked on women’s welfare initiatives.
In the 2025 Delhi Assembly election, Gupta secured 68,200 votes from Shalimar Bagh.

Parvesh Sahib Singh took oath as a minister after defeating Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in a closely contested battle for the New Delhi constituency in the Assembly elections. Kejriwal, who had led Delhi for three consecutive terms, lost his stronghold.
The New Delhi seat had previously been the site of Kejriwal’s landmark victory over Sheila Dikshit in 2013, ending her 15-year rule. In this election, Singh edged out Kejriwal by 4,089 votes. AAP alleged irregularities in the voter list and accused Singh of violating the Model Code of Conduct by distributing freebies.
During his campaign, the 47-year-old leader pledged to transform the Yamuna riverfront similar to Sabarmati, provide housing for slum dwellers, generate 50,000 government jobs, build new flyovers, and work towards a pollution-free Delhi.
A seasoned BJP leader with nearly three decades of experience, Singh has previously served as an MP from West Delhi twice and as an MLA from Mehrauli.

Kapil Mishra was sworn in as a minister in chief minister Rekha Gupta’s Cabinet, representing the Karawal Nagar constituency. A former AAP leader, he joined the BJP in 2019 and has remained an outspoken critic of his former party. In the 2025 elections, he secured victory with a margin of 23,355 votes, showcasing his strong grassroots appeal.

Mishra, who initially won Karawal Nagar in 2015 on an AAP ticket, was once Delhi’s water resources minister but was later removed after accusing CM Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendar Jain of corruption. His allegations led to his disqualification from the Assembly in 2019, after which he joined the BJP.

Ashish Sood was sworn in as a minister in Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta’s Cabinet at Ramlila Maidan during the BJP government's oath-taking ceremony. A veteran BJP leader with strong ties to the RSS, Sood won the Janakpuri constituency by nearly 19,000 votes, defeating AAP’s Rajesh Rishi. With extensive political experience, he has served as a councillor, Leader of the House in SDMC, and BJP’s Goa in-charge and co-incharge for Jammu and Kashmir.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa, a prominent Sikh leader, reclaimed the Rajouri Garden seat in the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections. His victory by a margin of 18,190 votes over AAP's Dhanwati Chandela highlights his enduring influence in both political and religious spheres. Sirsa has previously served as the president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) and has been an active voice for the Sikh community in Delhi.

Pankaj Kumar Singh, who represents the Vikaspuri constituency in South West Delhi, was sworn in as a minister in chief minister Rekha Gupta’s Cabinet. In the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, he secured 135,564 votes, defeating incumbent AAP MLA Mahinder Yadav by a margin of 12,876 votes.
Born on November 6, 1977, Singh hails from Vikaspuri and is the son of the late Raj Mohan Singh, a former additional commissioner in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). He began his political journey as an MCD councillor before advancing to the state legislature as a BJP candidate.

Ravinder Indraj Singh, son of former MLA Indraj Singh, was sworn in as a cabinet minister in chief minister Rekha Gupta’s government at Ramlila Maidan. Representing the Bawana constituency in North Delhi, he secured 119,515 votes in the 2025 elections, defeating AAP’s Jai Bhagwan by 31,475 votes. Known for his strong grassroots connections, Singh has gained significant support for his commitment to addressing local issues. He joins the six-member cabinet alongside BJP leaders Parvesh Sahib Singh, Kapil Mishra, Pankaj Kumar Singh, Ashish Sood, and Manjinder Singh Sirsa in shaping Delhi’s new governance under CM Rekha Gupta.
