The reactions have ranged from fawning admiration for the leads to eye-rolls about ‘yet another ’ and some demands of banning the show in Pakistan (most did so even before they saw the trailer).

It focuses on their eldest children, Sara and Vishal, played by Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir, who become symbols of national stoicism and sacrifice, as a fierce social media debate erupts, and how the two teenagers end up being drawn to each other, as they reflect upon their loss and grief.
