"All countries condemned the Amarnath tragedy. It is surprising that we didn't hear anything from China," Mehbooba Mufti told news agency ANI.

The J&K CM added that China has not condemned cross-border terrorism the way it is expected from them.

Earlier today, Mufti had blamed external forces for the unrest in Kashmir, adding that China too has started interfering.

India had rejected China's offer of "playing a constructive role" over Kashmir, saying it is a bilateral matter.

Mehbooba met home minister Rajnath Singh earlier today to discuss the law and order situation in the state, especially security to Amarnath pilgrims.
