SP candidate of Ranchi missing

RANCHI: Ali Raza Zaidi, SamajwadiParty candidate of Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency, where polling will be held onMonday, has been reported missing, police said on Sunday.Zaidi lefthis home in the town at around 10.30 pm on Friday night and has not returnedsince, according to the missing report filed by his family members with police.The report was filed on Saturday and a hunt has been launched totrace the candidate, the police said.Altogether, 19 candidates arein the fray for the prestigious Ranchi seat, where polls would be held alongwith seven other Lok Sabha seats in the second and last phase onMonday.
