“Security forces recovered Mir’s personal car, a Wagon R, from Gujerbasti area of Dooru’s Watnad region on Sunday morning, during a search operation in Nowgam,

, Dooru and adjoining areas,” said a police officer.

Cops have registered a case and a probe is underway.

Mir’s death came just two days ahead of the last leg of parliamentary elections in south Kashmir.
