kohima: former chief of intelligence bureau shyamal dutta was on monday sworn in as the 13th governor of nagaland. dutta, who succeeded om prakash sharma, was administered the oath of office and secrecy by the chief justice of guwahati high court ravinder singh mongia at raj bhavan here in the presence of the council of ministers and senior civil, police and army officials.
after the ceremony, dutta held a meeting with the chief minister and his cabinet colleagues to discuss the latest situation in nagaland, official sources said.
